Nagaria Travels is a reader-supported travel blog. Keeping it free to read costs money — hosting, research, and the travel itself — so we earn in two ways. Here is exactly how, in plain terms.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to book or buy something, the company you book with may pay us a small commission.
This never costs you anything extra. You pay the same price you would have paid going direct. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket. If we ever negotiate a discount for readers, you will pay less, not more.
We use affiliate links for things like flights, accommodation, tours and activities, travel insurance, rail passes and travel gear.
How to spot one
You will always see a short note near the top of any post that contains affiliate links, before the first one appears. Affiliate links are also tagged in the page code (rel="sponsored"), which is the standard way of marking a paid link so search engines and screen readers can identify it too.
Who we work with
Our affiliate partners include:

We add and drop partners over time. This list is kept current, and if you ever want to know how we are compensated for one specific recommendation, just ask.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense and the advertising partners Google works with. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to choose which ads you see, including ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

Sponsored content, gifts and press trips
If a post is sponsored, if we were given something free, or if a trip was hosted or paid for by a tourism board, hotel or tour operator, that is stated clearly at the top of that post. Every time, without exception, whether or not the arrangement required us to say so.
Our editorial promise
Recommendations are not for sale. Specifically:
- We only recommend places, tours and products we would genuinely suggest to a friend.
- A commission rate never affects whether we recommend something, how warmly, or where it sits in a list.
- If somewhere disappointed us, we say so — or we leave it out rather than pad a page with links.
- Where we have not been somewhere ourselves, we say so plainly instead of implying first-hand experience.
- Some posts contain no affiliate links at all, because nothing worth linking to existed.
- Prices, opening times and entry requirements are correct as far as we can establish at the time of writing, and we date them where it matters. Travel details change constantly, so please confirm directly with the provider before booking.
Why we tell you this
Partly because we would want to know. Partly because it is required: UK advertising rules and the Competition and Markets Authority require paid or incentivised recommendations to be disclosed clearly and upfront, and so do the rules of the advertising and affiliate programmes we belong to.
